What is the right thing to do? What guidelines will I use to sort this problem out?
• What would my parents or grandparents do?
• What would my best friend do?
• What would my most-wise friend do?
• What would Jesus do?
• What does the bible say?
All of these guidelines require a relationship. A relationship with time spent. In some of these examples, we can simply make a phone call or think back to the example that these people set for us.
What about Jesus, how do we really know what he would do? Do we spend the kind of time with him that we have spent with our family or with our best friend?
Working on this relationship will give you access to wisdom that will far exceed your own. Reliable, steady and unchanging. Sweet as honey.
Lord, it humbles us to know you have a plan for us, and that plan included Jesus, our savior. Guide the work of our hearts and hands today so that we will honor Jesus. Amen.
Lord, instead of fighting my own battles today, I will wait for you. I will try to give you the space you need to help me. Amen 🙏
Lord, as wives we ask that you teach us how to respect our husbands, we love them and wish to honor you in our marriage. ❤️🙏 Amen.
Lord, thank you for your provision. You have given us more than we knew to ask for and exactly what we needed the most. Amen.
Lord, help us accept your correction, knowing you have our best interest in mind. Amen.
Lord, we invite your holy spirit into our hearts and minds today. Teach us what freedom in you means to our daily lives. Amen.
Lord, help us walk according to your will for our lives today and not simply chase our own desires. Thank you. Amen.
Lord Jesus, we stop, pause and listen for your voice today. Unplugging long enough to hear you and to adjust our course so we continue to move towards you. Amen
Jesus, please do what only you can do in our lives today. Amen
Thank you for the gift of wisdom. Help us pause long enough to hear you. Amen.
I was gifted with a curious mind. I can be easily pulled away from the wiser choice in pursuit of something new and shiny. If you are too, let this prayer cover you. Jesus, help us keep our focus on You and trust in the path you have us on. Thank you!
